The Miami Regional Chamber of Commerce (MRCC) Annual Awards Gala is a premier celebration of excellence, leadership, innovation, and community impact. Held each February, this elegant evening brings together business leaders, community partners, elected officials, and Chamber members to recognize the individuals, businesses, and organizations that help drive the success and growth of Ottawa County.
The MRCC Awards are designed to recognize the significant role businesses and individuals play in our local economy. Through the awards program, recipients are honored for their achievements in business growth, innovation, creativity, community leadership, volunteerism, education, and service. The annual Gala provides an opportunity to celebrate these accomplishments while enjoying an evening of networking, recognition, and community pride.
A highlight of the event is the presentation of the Chamber's prestigious annual awards, including:
- Small Business of the Year (fewer than 10 employees)
- Medium Business of the Year (11 to 25 employees)
- Large Business of the Year (26+ employees)

The Mark Rogers Volunteer of the Year Award honors an individual, business, or organization that has demonstrated extraordinary volunteer service and inspired others through a meaningful commitment of time and effort to the community. The IMPACT Award recognizes an individual, business, or organization whose leadership, vision, integrity, and support have created a lasting positive impact on Ottawa County. The Excellence in Education Award celebrates outstanding educators who demonstrate exceptional dedication and innovation in shaping future generations.

Chamber Connect is a premier luncheon series hosted by the Miami Regional Chamber of Commerce, bringing together business professionals, community leaders, elected officials, and residents to stay informed, engaged, and connected. The Annual Employee Extravaganza is a fun-filled spring tradition hosted by the Miami Regional Chamber of Commerce that gives businesses and organizations the opportunity to celebrate and reward their employees for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.
Designed as an employee appreciation event, the Extravaganza brings together local businesses and their teams for an evening of entertainment, camaraderie, and community spirit. Employers are encouraged to treat their employees to a memorable night out while connecting with other businesses across Ottawa County.
Each year features a unique and exciting theme, with past favorites including Decade Nights, Pirates, Luaus, and other creative celebrations. Attendees can enjoy themed activities, interactive games, great food, door prizes, and giveaways, making every event a one-of-a-kind experience.
One of the highlights of the evening is the chance to win exciting prizes, with more than $3,000 in giveaways awarded throughout the event. The combination of fun themes, friendly competition, and community connections creates an atmosphere that employees look forward to year after year.

The Women in Business (WIB) Program at the Miami Regional Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to empowering, educating, and connecting women throughout Ottawa County and the surrounding region. Our mission is to foster leadership, encourage growth, and create an environment where women can build valuable relationships, share experiences, and gain insights from accomplished speakers and business professionals. Whether you are an entrepreneur, business owner, manager, employee, student, or community leader, WIB provides opportunities to learn, connect, and thrive.
The Women in Business Luncheons are held every other month on the second Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Each luncheon features engaging guest speakers, relevant topics, and valuable networking opportunities designed to inspire and equip attendees for success both professionally and personally.
