March 11, 2010, from 11:30AM until 5:30PM- Miami, Ok - March 2010 - Since World War II and the days of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, March is proclaimed American Red Cross Month by U.S. presidents, This year's Proclamation signed by President Obama, noted how the Red Cross provides vital assistance by organizing blood drives, teaching heatlth and safety programs, providing disaster relief and supporting our nation's men and women in union.

"Kilkenny Road" Music Program at the Miami Public Library
March 18, 2010, at 6:30PM- Kilkenny Road, based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, presents an energetic blend of jigs, reels, hornpipes, and aires that are reminiscent of the music played in the pubs of Ireland. High energy traditional Irish tunes will be performed by Wayne Kahre, fiddle, Glen Schmidt, hammered dulcimer and bouzouki, Galen Brown, guitar, John O’Connor, bodhran, and Emily Elkins, flutist. Autism Support Group at INTEGRIS Baptist Regional Health Center
April 1, 2010, at 5:30PM- This group meets the first Thursday of each month in the Miami First Baptist Church Fellowship Center, located at 24 S Street S.W. Art in April at the Miami Public Library
April 5, 2010, at 4:00PM- Art in April has become a favorite event for 3rd-5th graders and will once again be offered this April at the Miami Public Library. The art classes are free of charge and offer a fun innovative way for children to create a piece of art work fashioned by an artist or author/illustrator. The art work will be displayed at the library during the month of April. Due to limited space, reservations are required.
