    "Kilkenny Road" Music Program at the Miami Public Library

      Kilkenny Road, based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, presents an energetic blend of jigs, reels, hornpipes, and aires that are reminiscent of the music played in the pubs of Ireland. High energy traditional Irish tunes will be performed by Wayne Kahre, fiddle, Glen Schmidt, hammered dulcimer and bouzouki, Galen Brown, guitar, John O’Connor, bodhran, and Emily Elkins, flutist.       Art in April has become a favorite event for 3rd-5th graders and will once again be offered this April at the Miami Public Library. The art classes are free of charge and offer a fun innovative way for children to create a piece of art work fashioned by an artist or author/illustrator. The art work will be displayed at the library during the month of April. Due to limited space, reservations are required.
